Our mission

Dignity, not charity. Every hand we hold, we hold as equals.

Shri Hari Sewashram Trust works alongside families the rest of the world has forgotten. We do not hand down help from above; we sit beside people, learn what they need, and stay until it is done. A child in school, a fever treated in time, a warm meal, a daughter married with honour, a fee that no longer stands between a student and their future.

Founded on a simple belief: that service offered with respect can change the course of a life. Everything we do is funded by people who choose to give, and spent in full view of the families we serve.

What we do

Five ways we walk with a family

Education

School admissions, books, uniforms, and after-school tutoring so that no child is kept out of a classroom by cost. We follow each child year on year, not just for a term.

Healthcare

Free health camps, medicines, and help reaching hospitals for treatment a family could never afford alone. Early care, before a small illness becomes a crisis.

Food distribution

Regular ration kits and cooked meals for the elderly, day labourers, and families in hard months, served warm and served with respect.

Marriage assistance

Support for families marrying a daughter with dignity, so that a wedding is a moment of joy rather than a burden of debt.

Scholarships

Tuition and fee support for bright students through school and into college, carrying them across the years where most are forced to drop out.

What we have done

Education

Free computer training for 250+ children

For years the trust has run free computer training in Sardhana, Meerut. Hundreds of children have completed the course and been awarded certificates at public ceremonies, opening a door their families could not have opened alone.

Community yoga and wellness camps

Regular free yoga and wellness sessions at the trust premises bring young people together for their health, taught in the open courtyard under the trust banner.

Scholarship & marriage

A degree funded, a daughter married

The trust pays Neelisha Singh's engineering fees at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, two lakh rupees a year, every year until she graduates. It also took on the full cost of Annu Singh's wedding for a family that could not afford it.
